"It is with the entrance of Alfredo (played by David Akin) that the play begins finally to take shape. We find out that Alfredo is forced to stay at the Holiday Inn while Pedro's mother is in town, for fear that she will discover her son's homosexuality. In terms of performance, the brightest scenes are those between Alfredo and Pedro. David Akin redeems some of the stilted, contrived "acting" moments from the others. Akin speaks comfortably and wittily and handles the physical comedy with command and precision"
