"Four people, held together in a relationship that is never made clear, are facing life without stimulation, without feeling. They busy themselves with obvious concerns (where to get food, water); but their inner minds are crying out for proof they are still alive. The inner-pain of the characters-as revealed by the cast-is powerful. David Akin, Nancy Therese Guilliams, Meesha LeBlond and Rich Trujillo turn in strong characterizations. Any Shepard play is arduous to stage because of the intensity that must be maintained, but the quartet of actors tackles the challenge with skill."
